Located between
Pernes les Fontaines and Venasque,
Saint Didier is a pleasant little village set within the superb landscapes
of the Vaucluse Hills. Beautiful walks are to be had across the surrounding
countryside especially along the road of the shrines.
Pass by Saint Didier and you can't fail to see its stone gateway (set
across the road) with its high clock tower. This gateway marks the entrance
to the Thezan château built in the XV° and extended in the XVIII°C.
The château was transformed into a hydrotherapy center in the last century.
Today it's a private clinic, not available to visits but you can still
stop a while to admire the exterior.
