The village of Saint Saturnin les Avignon is lucky to enjoy the calm sweet atmosphere of a small provençal village whilst being close to the city of Avignon.

Bordered by century old plane tress the Boulevard de la Libération, encircles the village. With its busy bistrots and flower laden cafe terraces, the Place des Cafés is the meeting place for the village. Higher up the in the middle of the Place du 16 juin 1940, a fountain in the form of a large stone cup stands in front of the church. On a small elevated plateau where two cypress trees and an olive tree grows, the small church has been completely renovated.

Walks around the pretty flower laden streets will take you past the renovated houses in the village. Each one is different and renovated in a different manner, painted or stone built facades. The result is a charming village center.
Far away from the crowds of tourists, Saint-Saturnin-les-Avignon is a pleasant village with a good quality of life.
