Apt is situated in the heart of the Luberon Nature Reserve between the mountains of Vaucluse and Luberon.

This pleasant city, so typical of Provence, is well reputed for its local products; it even boasts the classification of "site remarquable du gout" (a place of wonderful tastes).

Apt is known worldwide for its candied fruit and enlightened gourmets vvould never miss the famous market on Saturday morning at the Place des Martyrs de la Résistance.

There one finds perfectly ripened fruit bursting with sun, and delicious goat cheeses made with love by the local producers, all to the delight of connaisseurs.


Apt will charm you with its lovely little streets leading you through the old city, passing by ancient fountains , private mansions, and tiny tree filled squares.

In the horizon one perceives the hills of Luberon colored in ocher, scented in lavender, and buzzing with cicadas!

There can be no doubt that this is Provence.
