Just above the left bank of the Verdon, Vinon is at a strategic point: the joining of the four departments.

This pleasant little city will charm you with its Provençal atmosphere.
Take a walk along the tiny streets of the old quarters where you will discover lovely 17th and 18th c. houses (rue des Marseillaises, rue des Fours),then take a rest in the cool court shaded by platane trees.

These plane trees, it seems, were planted by the shepherds of Arles in the 18th century when Vinon was an important stopping place during the seasonal migrations.

Today Vinon receives many visitors due to its rich natural surroundings. Vinon is just two steps away from the famous Verdon Canyons.
