Take route D560 north at St. Maximin to Barjols,
then route D554.

Not too far from Barjols, Tavernes is a pleasant village ot Haut -Var. The old village, which used to be fortitied, has some interesting sights to see, in particular the Notre Dame de Bellevue Chapel (1642)in the northern part.

Going to the chapel will give you the chance to walk on the hill which rises to 637m. There you will have a pretty view of the village and you can appreciate the enveloping calm.
