At St. Maximin(29km.), take D560
North to Varages, then turn west onto D561.
Saint Martin des Pallières is a calm little village situated in the upper western part of Var, between Rians and Varages.

The village, which is a classified site, has kept its medieval aspect with houses huddled around a castle.

Restoration of the 12th c. castle is going on presently and only its French style park is open to the public.

The castle's park created in 1734.
The church (1688).
