Just outside Toulon, La Farlede tries desperately to remain a peaceful village. It is situated in the valley of the Gapeau river, only a step away from the beaches.

Its vast industrial zone is bustling with activity and this little town is already considered to be a suburb of Toulon. The Gapeau goes through several of its quarters and provides gardening water for the inhabitants. The source Reganas works to turn the old olive oil mill.

Despite its proximity to a big city, La Farlede has been able to keep its production of fruit, flowers and olives.

Its motto is, in Provençal, D'ou Soulen, Tout Ben. In English Under the sun, all is well
