What to see:
St Pons' Church which dates from the XIIth and XVIth centuries. There are two beautiful gold plated wood retables (one a magnificent rennaissance statue from 543 of the Virgin Mary and child) and a small extremely interesting lapidary museum which includes a IVth century paleo christian cippe, a funeral urn, a XIIth century column and a Vth century sarcophagus.
On entering the church one is surprised by it's volume. Entry is free but you need to ask for the key from the bar in the square. Behind the church is the Cornélia family's paleo christian era mausoleum which was in the chevet of the church. You get to it through the public archeological garden which has pretty views over the surrounding marshland and the River Issole. Don't miss the magnificent entrance door and opposite, the the fountain adorned with a shrimp. If you have time, take a stroll around the ancient village streets which seem to have remained unchanged since the Middle Age
