Roquesteron is a small, calm, "out of the way" village on the left bank of the River Estéron, and surounded by large forests.

  The river which flows through the village will be especially appreciated by fisherman (and woman) and those who enjoy bracing swims, (even extremely cold).

Charming paths take you up to the impressive streams at Aiglun and Riolan, on the way you'll pass by pretty country chapels hidden behind luxuriant vegetation.

For more experienced walkers, follow the main GR510 footpath which links St Cézaire to Sospel.

More intrepid vistors will seek to climb up to the Cheiron summit at 1.777m and will be rewarded for their efforts with the sublime panoramic views over the Côte d'Azur and towards the Alps.
