Take route N85 north of Grasse for 32 km, then turn right onto D79 for 2km., then D81 for 6km. A spectacular jagged rocky ridge towers over the small village of Andon located in the vast Caille plain. After parking your car in the large car park at the entrance to the village, you will without doubt be impressed by the wide open space and the pure air here, the large meadow and the pétanque pitch. Not to mention the very peaceful, long, main street where you will be able to admire a beautiful stone church, a vaulted passageway and some old houses with wooden balconies. At the other end of the village, you will find a attractive house, carefully restored, this was“César's” house, he was a very appreciated artist and was brillant to enhance and embellish this marvellous old house with unfailing good taste ! The village is fortunate in possessing a ski resort called Audibergue, where you can enjoy downhill skiing and cross-country skiing with the family. Andon is a potholer's paradise thanks to the numerous caves and sinkholes in the district. Skiers and hikers will be able to meet on the summit of Audibergue and will be able to admire a panorama that stretches right to the sea.
