The Medieval house "Charpin" (8-12 pers) is located in a beautiful village in the LUBERON Regional Park, situated between AVIGNON, AIX EN PROVENCE and SISTERON. The Viens rural village offers quietness of the country side associated with facilities af a small town : grocery, bakery, restaurant and bar.

LUBERON Regional Park LUBERON Regional Park is very typic, with a long history beginning more than 20 centuries ago with Romans. Lot of vestiges persists from Roman and Medieval period in villages of Provence. In addition to the picturesque villages which are the soul of the Luberon (Gordes, Roussillon, Bonnieux, Menerbes, Lacoste, Lourmarin, Buoux ...), you will discover the colorado of Provence (Rustrel), The bories village, the Roussillon ochres carries and lot of villages not so knowned but very beautiful and typic.

HORSE RIDING IN THE LUBERON REGIONAL PARK : To enjoy yor stay, 25 horses and ponies are available to ride on paths or on a ring. NEARBY ACTIVITIES: There is a small lake near Apt (10 Km) with a big swimming pool (on the lake, only windsurfing). A public pool in 2 neighboor villages (5 Km each: Rustrel and St Martin de Castillon). A beautiful lake near Cucuron (30 mn by car), and "Le Verdon" in 1 h by car. "CHARPIN": 140 m², 8-12 persons This medieval building newly restored is located in the heart of the VIENS village; a medieval village in front of the Luberon mountain, 461 inhabitants, altitude: 630 m. Very quiet, typic of Provence and not so touristic. Nevertheless, it is very beautiful as you can see on the web site. An opportunity to discover the true life in Provence. This village has facilities: a grocery shop, a bakery, a restaurant and a pub. All the rooms in the house "CHARPIN" are south exposed and very enlighted. 4 bedrooms (3 with double beds and one with single bed), 3 bathrooms-WC (one private to a bedroom), a large dining-room (+ fireplace) with a kitchen area fully equiped. Lounge and game-room for children (baby-foot) are composed by an archway made of medieval stone. A terrace equiped (20 m²) on the top offers a beautiful panorama over the Luberon mountain and the countryside. Lots of amenities: dish-washer, washing-machine, electric-plates, oven, freezer-fridge, TV satellite, phone.

No problem if you arrive later, the meal "coq au vin" is even better when is reheat.
